The Bar BC Ranch is a 1,400 acre development located in Jackson, Wyoming.

Initial Ranch Development

Firewise was first hired by the family that owned the ranch prior to the developer purchasing the ranch. The developer subsequently enlisted the services of Firewise as well.

Aspen and Cottonwood Regeneration

The Bar BC was heavily infested with douglas fir beetle. Firewise wrote a forest management plan, and then provided timber harvest services for the initial owner. Firewise then provided consulting services for the developer by writing a forest health plan and county required development submittals pertaining to the mitigation of impacts. Firewise also provided rough grading and access roads into the development, as well as forest mitigation in the form of aspen and cottonwood regeneration.
